A proposal that we submitted to the Israel Innovation Authority has just been approved! The joint project of TAU, Volcani Institute, and Afeka College will develop a novel technology for Agrivoltaic collectors, which is expected to produce higher agricultural crop yields without compromising the electricity generation capability. This will open large agricultural areas for dual-use solar electricity generation, a major step towards joint realization of sustainability, food security and energy security in Israel and around the world.
